Colina
Seattle, WA
Colina East and Colina West are two adjacent Bumgardner projects in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle. A direct neighbor to the Beacon Hill light rail station, the two sites are bound by the bustling Beacon Ave and the S Lander Festival St., promoting the thriving pedestrian experience already present on Beacon Hill.
The project draws from its neighbors, both the new multi-family construction and nearby single family homes. North Beacon Hill has wide range of materials and colors that adorn both the new and old construction. The immediately adjacent buildings feature warm earthy tones and vibrant oranges and yellows.
The 6-story mixed-use buildings contain apartment layouts that vary from studios to one and two bedrooms. Residents have access to rooftop amenities with views of downtown and Mt. Rainier.
Colina East provides 99 residential units, 1,410 square feet of street-level commercial space, and one level of below-grade parking with 40 stalls for residents. Colina West includes 40 residential units and 3,700 square feet of street-level retail. Both projects began construction in Fall 2019, were completed in 2021, and earned LEED Gold certification.
