We’re proud to announce that The Confidential has been named a Finalist for High-Rise Residential Development of the Year at the upcoming 2025 NAIOP Night of the Stars Awards — a recognition that highlights the project’s bold design, attention to detail, and strong sense of place.

Rising 29 stories at the prominent intersection of Fourth Avenue and Bell Street, The Confidential brings a bold new presence to the heart of Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood. As the award nomination notes, “The Confidential Apartments brings boutique-feeling residential housing infused with sophisticated design and dramatic artwork to one of Seattle’s most densely populated neighborhoods.”

Bumgardner established the interior design program and concept for the project with development of the interior floor layouts, interior architectural elements, including wall and ceiling treatments, lighting layouts and selection of finishes, fixtures, lighting and artwork for all common areas and units. The interiors of The Confidential draw inspiration from Belltown’s layered history and vibrant urban fabric, balancing refined modern living with subtle nods to the neighborhood’s industrial roots. Warm, tactile finishes and custom detailing reference the area’s warehouse past, while a curated palette and contemporary fixtures speak to its evolving cultural identity. Amenity spaces are designed to foster connection – both to the surrounding city through expansive views and to residents through inviting communal lounges, shared work areas, and social gathering zones—creating an environment that feels authentically tied to its place and community.

The NAIOP recognition highlights the design excellence and collaborative effort that define The Confidential as a standout in high-rise residential development. See “Our Work” for more details on The Confidential.
